To me it's more about the players. I think they're the ones that enjoy them the most. I hope they're given the opportunity to "earn" them back if they want to wear them again.

But overall, I think CJP just wants to scrap the gimmicky bullshit. No problem with that.

 

If the players liked a neon green helmet and polka-dot shirts, I would tell them to sod off. You came to Tennessee. We wear Orange and we wear White. And if it is Halloween, we might, *might* wear orange and black.

I have flipped on this stuff, after seeing all the godawful camo, neon, all black all crap whatever uniforms a lot of other schools wear.

Agreed. Make it about winning football first and then go from there. Plus, I definitely want them shelved for a while. I don't want to be reminded of the huge vagina that was an employee at my/our beloved university. At least for the time being.
