Peyton Manning to be Honorary Race Starter at Bristol.

It was announced today that recently retired NFL great, Peyton Manning will be the Honorary Race Starter for the April 17 race at Bristol Motor Speedway. He will join fellow Nationwide Spokesman Dale Earnhardt, Jr. in his parade lap at driver introductions. it is probably no coincidence that Manning's first NASCAR experience comes where UT and VATech will play in the "Battle of Bristol"

 

Do you suspect that when it comes time to start the race, the Honorary Race Starter will somehow use the word "Omaha" in the starting sequence?

 

Will he rent advertising space on his fivehead?

 

It'll probably be a terrible race. Should get Brady IMO

 

Then they would have to worry about proper tire air pressures.
