One of the few players I would be OK with him bringing from his current class.

Tyndall will have the vast majority, if not all, of his open scholarships filled by this time next week.

Likely to be Carmichael and Suarez.

Not necessarily. He's got at least six scholarships.

    Per Goodman...

Florida Gulf Coast transfer Eric McKnight (eligible next year), Oregon State transfer Hallice Cooke (not sure about next year), and IUPUI transfer Ian Chiles (available next year) are all considering Tennessee.

    Wouldn't take any of them.

    Interesting.

Based on the lists for each player, sounds like McKnight is the most sought after.

If they only have one year left, I'd take them over walk-ons

Why fool with a bunch of middling players with one year left? It's not as if any of those guys are difference makers. All you'll get is the headache that comes with guys [itch bay]ing when they don't get to "showcase their talents."

    Valid point.

Not sure if the numbers would back my opinion, but I would lean toward the presumption that the vast majority of these transfers tend to not drastically alter a teams course for the better.

Would you take a transfer like this as a body for 1 year over a HS player that you will have to get rid of in a year or two?

I probably wouldn't fool with either. There's no reason Tyndall has to take either to get to a functional number of players on the roster.

This would be McKnight's third D-I stop.

    That would work.

Is Chiles really that bad? Put up good numbers.

Sounds like we probably get Punter commit Tuesday - I hope we can get freshman Mitchell and Owens.

Have no idea who the grad transfers will be though.
