Wrong thread, but maybe folks like working with Heupel that much. Yeah, I'm sure there's more to it that just that, but after the last three guys, would we recognize a cohesive, happy staff if we saw it?
Offensive side is pretty stout too. Top OL and top TE coach. Respected RB coach. WR coach is known as more of a recruiter but he is young and this offense will help him out a lot.
Kodi is a good coach. He’s still green, no WR coach is going to have much room for growth in Malzahn’s system, he’ll figure it out.
Seeing crossing routes, posts and slants will be enjoyable again. Watching wrs clear out an area for 1 v 1 better spacing as well. And if we don't chop our feet and hands, giving away we are breaking off a route and allowing the db to stuff it easier, things should open up more as well. Nothing worse than 3rd and 6, knowing we are running routes to the sticks and watching wrs slow down, chop and allow a DB to get all over them.
Groves all but guaranteed a national title next year. You gotta learn how to read between the lines with some of these guys.
