"There's a difference between being hurt and being injured" - Jeremy Pruitt.

    He's 100% correct, too.

It's why he jumped Calbert's ass after he dramatically rolled around for 4 minutes then popped up during the MSU game.

    Dumb. You.

  9. Pot, meet kettle.

This will blow over like most all stories like this. It will get some clicks, but at the end of the day there will be no lasting impact.

They criticized him when they got the boot too if I remember correctly.

It's also worth noting that injuries seem to be way down under Pruitt's staff. Not sure of the numbers though.

    True, IMO.

I’ve chalked this up to better strength and conditioning, and which was woefully lacking under Butch.

I do think it's important to step back and try to be level-headed about this.

I think if Kirkland truly felt aggrieved by the staff, he's probably not coming back to walk through the T and shake Pruitt's hand.

I also think the previous medical and coaching staff created an environment that led to an astronomical amount of medical retirements.

I don't see a specific allegation in that article other than Pruitt telling the medical staff to wait before running onto the field.

Smells like bullshit. Unless Kirkland comes out with some damning details, I'm not paying much attention to this.

Wussification. You always try to get a kid up. Hope hes not injured and can. Add toughness. And if he can't, then get the training staff to help him.
As far as rushing back, coaches have no say and haven't. They are cleared medically, or they arent.

And btw, change from team ortho shoulda happened years ago. Thats all ill say. Being a team Dr, does not mean you are a good one. At all.

Pruitt had to change the softness that was rampant around here.

This is nothing more than sour grapes.

Look at the drop off in games missed due to injuries and to season ending injuries.
