Hi all.

I would define "hails from" as someone who claims to be from a certain place, whether by birth or where they've spent a good portion of their life. Various definitions include such understanding of the term. Did John McCain hail from Panama, or Arizona? I'll let you decide.

Outside chance the correct answer is Parys Haralson, since he's named after a city in Germany and he played for the 49ers.
