Raise your hand if you thought this team would go. 500 in SEC play

Anybody? Anyone?

 

I had us at 17-14 overall, 8-8 SEC on a preseason prediction thread at TOOS. I'll be the first to admit that any extent to which that's close is sheer luck.

 

I thought there were 8 games they had no chance of winning. If they win Saturday, they'll have gone 3-5 in those games and been a couple of bounces from 5-3.

 

I very optimistically picked them to go 18-13 in my preseason blog. I still have a shot to be right.

 

Hat, or anyone else, what kind of record do you think Tennessee would have had if Pearl was still coaching this year?

To make the comparison as fair as possible, assume that:
a) Harris and Hopson still left early
b) We don't have Stokes, unless you think Pearl would have been able to get him to Knoxville.

 

I thought that Pearl was looking good with Stokes...the uncertainty didn't come in until Pearl left, no?
