Recruiting Class 2014

I'm not coronating Butch the king of the college football world.....but damn...it sure is better than anything we've had (this early) in several years.

 

If he holds serve on the field it should be the best class we ve signed in a loooong time.

The LOS is gonna be the next hurdle.

 

Agreed. I would also love to see Bates go ahead and pull the trigger....after that bring me some big uglies.

 

I really don't think that will happen. We are going bowling this year. It took sheer incompetence for Dooley to miss a bowl the last two years. If we beat Missouri in 2012 and Kentucky the year before then even that dumbass would have had a bowl team those years. If Butch puts up the same results then, roster issues aside, we probably have the wrong guy. Butch seems to have a recruiting groove going right now. If the current guys believe in him the way these recruits seem to then they will have bought in totally by the time the season starts. Making a bowl shouldn't be an issue.

 

Better still...we don't have to listen to a coach *****ing about how hard he has to work to recruit and win at UT. That shit gets old after a while.

 

Might lose some but I don't see the class falling apart.

 

agreed, I think the legacies will all stay, and keep most of the other recruits with them

 

Some analysts expect as many as 4 more commitments by the end of next weekend.

 

That would be great. Sounds like we are in it with a lot of highly regarded players.

 

2 of those may be big time de's.

 

The success of this class on the field will tell the tale for Butch.

Apparently that time came from his freshman year. Runs a 4.5 now.

Has also been asked to visit Auburn and Bama.
