    Haven't seen anything about him yet. He is a candidate to coach special teams and is currently employed in that capacity by the Chargers. Hyams is reporting they want him for TE and special teams, but he actually has a lot more experience coaching running backs. Kiffin was working on getting him to replace Eddie Gran before he left for USC. I think this would be a very good hire.


    He is familiar with the Southeast, having coached at Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Clemson. He did a fine job coaching special teams for the Bucs and where his units did well in coverage, returns, blocks, kicking, and punting. He also has experience recruiting, having served as Cemson's recruiting coordinator. And, of course, he has a Super Bowl ring to flash.

    No way Dooley wants him. He would be too much of a threat.
