The interview he did with Scott Van Pelt on SportsCenter the week of the OU game was flat out embarrassing.

 

Patriots, Steelers, Bama, LSU, USC, tOSU, or any hyper-successful football program.

So how exactly DO you beat cover 2 or cover 3? Because you haven't done it yet.

Critical plays beat cover 2. Momentum plays beat cover 3.

 

Why in the hell would anyone play cover three against us besides when we screw around and make it 3rd and forever

 

I'm not sure why anyone worth a darn plays anything other than press man.

 

Whoa. So you are saying Butch is a GENIUS, in that he beats Cover 3 by making it so the opposition never has to go INTO cover 3?

Cover 3 can increase D's chance of an opportunity sack. Of course, Cover 2 makes it easier to get an effort sack. Tough call...that's why coaches get paid the big bucks.

 

What's the criticism about?

Winning on the road requires critical focus, no? Isn't easy. Almost as difficult as winning at home.
