he likes to evaluate players in person at camps, so I imagine the pig pen types don't get offers. Dooley just liked to know he was the cleanest guy in the room, right up until the MRSA started.
I saw a photo of 97 on twitter, a returning player from knoxville. he looks more ripped than any player we have fielded in the last 4 or more years. going to be interesting to see once fall practice starts up if this all holds or is just wishful thinking. But I think these guys may have leveled up.
We should have some bigger and badder dudes running down on STs now too. We need another Victor Brown busting people up. Most here may not be old enough to remember, but the whole crowd seemed to watch him on special team coverage. He was big, fast, mean and would destroy a wedge while parallel to the ground.
the game was over right there. Crowd was rowdy already too. Some Cal fans didn't stand for the anthem and prayer. Their choice, but it wasn't cool back then with a bunch of greatly buzzed God fearing SEC fans right next to you. Then the hit and they all should have packed up and gtfo.
to be fair, those weights may be a year or more apart. and he's got a frame with plenty of space for mass. he isn't like a little 5'9 guy.
I am guessing they are getting a level of nutrition (protein) they weren't getting in a high schooler's diet. traded in pizza squares for steaks.
