There's a very real possibility that the SEC puts only two teams in the tourney. That's just gross.

Is the worst it's ever been?

i can't speak for "ever" but it's really really hard to fathom that there could be a "worse"

Talked to a guy in another SEC market off the air for the show recently. He said the guy who scouts the conference for a Western Conference team said the coaching in the SEC is so awful that it is almost impossible to get a good readon the players.

    It's certainly in the running.

Considering the mediocrity and parity in college basketball.
I believe if these teams had competent coaching they would be in the tourney.
Frank Martin would take any of the below rosters to the tourney and actually win games.
    Tennessee
    Missouri
    Arky
    LSU

but part of those teams' problems are steeped in the mental midgets they're willing to bring in and then keep on the floor.

Other than the two freshmen big guys, Arkansas has little to no quality talent.

Arkansas's roster is good enough to enter this year's field of 68.
Depending on match ups Tennessee and Missouri would have the best chance at advancing.
Very good chance Arky and LSU would lose in game one.
