That'll mean a trip to Columbia next year, most likely.

Then again, maybe not. If they want to make the division games 3 home and 3 away, we'll play Mizzou here and Arkansas won't be coming to Knoxville.

Do we know that the SEC will stick with an 8 game conference schedule for now?

I could see a big UK/Mizzou rivalry develop out of this

I'm guessing it goes to 9

I'll be stunned if SEC ADs agree to play five conference road games every other year.

Would that just eliminate 1 of the 2 rotating games against the west and replacing it with Mizzu. (in our case)

Yes. We won't see much of the West, with the exception of Alabama.

I was thinking maybe 7 SEC games at neutral fields. Set up some kind of "tradition" in the name of ESPN money

That's so unfortunate, especially since rivalries like Auburn and Ole Miss will basically be lost on a generation of Vol fans. In a way, that started with division play. Now this cements it.

To me, it's worth it if we keep playing Bama every year.

I believe that will be the most interesting dynamic of all of this if they were to go to 9. How would this affect the MTSUs of the world who have to get these big paychecks against the BCS teams?
