I wouldn’t be all that concerned about the class given the circumstances. I think the ‘19 class will be fine. The big question mark for me is the offense and Helton.

 

Missing on Quay and Copeland sucks.

 

I really thought we were getting Quay. I thought past relationships, the chance to play early and the playing with JJ would win out.

Never felt good about Copeland.

 

I never thought we could recruit our way into beginning to recover. It'll have to come on the field, and right away. No more embarrassing chokes or decisions. Beat who you can. Win against those who let you.

If Gooden qualifies, he's probably a day one starter.

Yeah, signing day was diamonds in the rough for the most part. Flowers could be a steal though. Mincey was a good pickup too
