I don't really see any reason to think that Grier won't shred our defense. At least 400 passing yards.
“What do you think about the qbs currently on the roster?” Pruitt - “I think they’re tough...they took a beating last year” From recruiting breakfast this morning
I think Guarantano has a lot of untapped potential. It's obvious he struggled with some of the aspects that are affected by poor coaching. Hoping this staff changes that.
Are we completely out of it for Litaker? The Sampson kid would be a nice addition as well as landing Thompson. I've heard Thompson would be a game changer and is dynamic with the ball in his hands but haven't seen any of his tape.
That's just not a sound assumption to make. We might beat them, but outside of the the big 3 in the middle its easily the toughest game on the schedule.
We could sign Litaker if we want. I think they’re looking for other positions to fill. If they can get Thompson in the door that’s a big boost for this class.
I thought he got worse the more he played. He basically got thrown in a shark tank with a bleeding wound
He and the staff said a lot of the things we wanted to hear. Ability to run the ball is a must. Will take shots downfield whether it works or not. Use the TE. Adapt to available talent, recruit to fit scheme. Attack on defense, dictate what the offense does, not the other way around. Practice and s&c are keys to winning championships. Etc. Butch and Dooley were both wtf hires imo. Given the circumstances, Pruitt was likely the best choice out there.
Remember this, the QB’s that transferred out from under butch have done well. Coaching them (the ones we have) and a new offense will do wonders. The butch factor is gone.
Or injured. There may be one or two that legitimately overplayed their hand and are talented players with no problems but everyone was full
