Did he really bite the player? If so, that isn't really okay. When Smokey bit an UGA player on the hand a few years ago it wasn't as big of a deal, as it happened on the sideline when the player more or less ran over the dog. I like the dog, but he either needs to be better trained (his behavior has always been on the wild side) or rotated out for another dog in the family that is.
That too. But you can't have a dog in the stadium whose first inclination when off the leash is to run up and bite someone.
For what it's worth... Smokey's leash broke right as they were starting out. Unfettered by the restraints placed on him by humanity he made the beeline for the Ky player. No bite occurred by the guy got a good bump. Guess he wanted to go out with a bang.
