10 more practices left and the only major injury is Marlin Lane's broken wrist.

Butch expects him to be back this spring.

Bad time for an injury for Lane.

    It's a good thing it's not a major injury.

It could be a good thing by getting others more reps than they might otherwise. Hopefully, it heals and things move right along.

I meant bad for Lane personally. The more reps Hurd gets the less carries Lane will get.

Regardless of how Lane plays I'd honestly be surprised if Hurd gets more than 15 touches in a game.

Lane sucks. He was one of those "diamonds" Dooley went after.

Hurd will suck too. After all, he played high school ball in Tennessee.

Plus, the reason there have probably been so few injuries is Butch probably hasn't even had them make contact yet. Utah State will clobber us.

To start the season, I agree. As it progresses, I'm betting they start running him 20 + times a game.

We'll just wish Hurd was as good as Darden.

It will def be interesting. I wouldn't count out Lane though in regards to being the primary back this season.

I believe qb play leads Tennessee to 40 plus rushing attempts per game
