I actually like Stephen A. I understand the point he was attempting to make, but believe that it is a poor one - at absolute best - and could not more strongly disagree with it. He's lucky that he's only getting a week, IMO, particularly given his earlier incident of dropping the N-word on live TV. I can't think of another talking head that would have survived either of those incidents, much less both, than Stephen A.
Not everything can or should be settled with a punch. No matter how obnoxious, short of brandishing a weapon, as a grown ass man you can't sock a woman or a child. Nor does the supposed issue of women trying to beat their men need airtime, particularly now. There is no point to get. Is Smith's agenda here to educate and protect women - gee something tells me no.
Heard on Mad Dog Sports Radio on XM that Stephen A was joining that network in September. Not sure if that means he's done with ESPN.
