The final appeal in behalf of the 48 team was a success as the six race suspension of Chad knaus was overturned. The 25 point penalty was also reversed moving Johnson up to eleventh place in the standings. The $100,000 fine was not rescinded. This comes as a surprise to me as most appeals are not successful.
