There was a thread about him somewhere else... I forget where... asking if he's a top 5 SEC back this year. As the season has gone on, I now ask is he a top 10 SEC back? Spencer Ware Trent Richardson Eddie Lacy Michael Dyer Onterrio McCalebb Isaiah Crowell Marcus Lattimore Vick Ballard Chris Rainey Jeff Demps Ronnie Wingo How many of those guys is he better than?
watching LSU and WV last night and all of their explosive athletes was depressing. We don't have a RB that would have made the field for either team last night.
Not anywhere near the top 10. I'd take most(if not all) of them over Poole. It was on TOOS. I think it was a thread I started about ESPNs rankings of SEC RBs
Edited because my post was mean and misleading, and it didn't really reflect the way I feel. I think Poole is a solid back. I think he would make an excellent second platoon back, and he would probably be a solid guy in most conferences. He isn't premier, and he is in a league with premier backs that run against premier defenses. He is at a school that puts tailbacks in the NFL on an annual basis, and he just isn't at that level.
It would help Poole out a bit if they did a toss sweep every now and then. We had alot of success with it when u know who was our coach. My opinion.
