I'm thinking you might as well knock out the next couple of seasons worth of game threads. It can't hurt to get an early start.
It's not just 2 true freshmen in the secondary, the other 2 are starting for the first time ever. Gotta like that.
Won't get to watch this one. However, Bray's performance will decide whether he is for real or not, at least in my eyes.
No way can you judge one player on one game, especially their first big game and their first game out of the state of Tennessee. The true test should be what happens to Bray after this game. If he has a great game, does he get cocky and regress or does he continue to apply steam? If he has a bad game, does he learn from it and make himself better or do the wheels just fall off?
I usually have a really good, or really bad feeling about this game, but this year I think it can go either way. I think it will be close.
How the hell can one game, his 8th start and first out of the state of Tennessee no less, decide whether Bray is "real" or not? He has no real threat of a running game and a pretty bad D backing him up.
Although I thank you guys for the in-depth analysis, please remember that this forum encourages free expression of ideas, so in the future don't be so reserved when voicing your opinions.
Not that feelings matter in any way, but this is the first time since 2007 I have felt good about it.
If Tennessee wins this game, he will be on the Heisman radar, at least for a little while. I am not in the camp that thinks we get our ass kicked, but he is going to have to go absolutely apeshit to win this game.
I don't know about going ape. He definitely has to protect the ball. With our game, if he secures the ball, we'll score plenty. I don't like our chances of securing it with us having to throw to the point of predictability and our Oline.
The term "going apeshit" gets me every time. Florida's speed scares me more than anything. Florida can suck a cheeta's [penis].
