1. That's two late fades in as many games. If that trend continues, this team is going to pile up some losses as the level of competition rises. 2. Jarnell Stokes is too good to play as he did in the first half. With Jeronne Maymon out, he has to come out of the locker room ready to play if Tennessee is going to compete with good opponents. 3. Kenny Hall is doing his best to mitigate the damage from Maymon's absence. UT will really need him to have a big game tomorrow against Oklahoma State's fabulously mediocre frontcourt. 4. The main culprit in the late game struggle today was a complete loss of offensive rhythm. Tennessee began concentrating more on running clock than getting good shots. 5. The work Josh Richardson put into his offensive game over the summer is paying big dividends. His shot is infinitely better than last year and he's far more aggressive going to the basket. 6. Trae Golden was the key during the stretch where Tennessee pulled away from Asheville. He got the post players involved, while at the same time attacking the basket and getting to the line. 7. Jordan McRae looks like he's on the verge of finally making a breakthrough. He's a little more efficient offensively and is getting in the passing lanes on defense. 8. The post defense was just awful in the first half. D.J. Cunningham is a good player, but Stokes and Hall have to be stonger than that on the block. 9. Armani Moore is still very much a work in progress at the point. Look for Coach Martin to try Skylar McBee as the primary ballhandler in small doses. 10. Oklahoma State poses a substantial threat tomorrow morning. The main concern is who will guard Le'Bryan Nash, with Richardson the likely first man to get a shot.
