    The great thing about a motion offense is that it teaches how to play the game and not run a play or pattern. From year to year you can make adjustments based on personnel but still keep the same structure. For instance you have some good (low) post players you might run 3 out 2 in, the next year you have more pick and pop type post players you might go 4 out 1 in with a post up top. If you are guard heavy and have some shooters you may go 4 out 1 in or dribble drive but at the heart of it all you are still a motion team.

    I agree with all of this. I have always (and will continue to) questioned the wisdom of JT3 running the Princeton offense at Georgetown.

    I know this is late, but just out of curiosity, who would have been the right coach for the roster Martin inherited? I can't see many coaches working too well with this group.
