I can't say that this "confirms" it, but Sports Talk did make mention of the incident this AM. From what I recall, his principal was at the arena last night, is speculated to have suffered a "cardiac event", and which ultimately proved fatal.

I never said I agreed that he should be allowed to stay two more years. I'm just going off what I think the UTAD will do, based on history. If Hart was willing to retain #ddiapos if he went 6-6 even though he lost his team, I can see him retaining Martin based on a "good effort" and missing the tourney.

 

Jarnell had a great game I thought. But Wilbekin controlled it when it mattered. Played great D, forced turnovers. Got a lot of penetration. Hit free throws. Didn't shoot it great, but otherwise did everything i would want in a point guard.

 

And the one shot he hit was the most important one of the night

 

I'm still not sure whether I even want us in the tournament. I suspect that if we make it, Cuonzo's here another year. And I see no reason to believe that would be a good thing.
