There's a long list of games this happened in. Guarantano shouldn't have played a snap barring injury to at least Shrout and Bailey last season

The VN idiots thread gave me this idea...

Prime Saban as our HC but we have to have JG taking every snap at QB

Butch Jones as our head coach with any QB that we choose?

You're essentially debating if a QB is the difference between Butch Jones and Nick Saban. Which is to say, it's an idiotic question.

I'll take Saban plus 5 thumbs McFumble as QB all day long.

We pretty much saw Butch with the perfect QB for his “offense”

A mobile QB who was tough as nails and threw it well enough to make shit happen

My two favorite hires thusfar are Rodney Garner and Charlie high, the offensive scouting coordinator.

    Butch + Newton/Tebow vs Saban w/ JG.

Honestly, closer than I thought it would be in my mind.

Nope, Butch would have converted Tebow to TE and Newton wouldn't look so behind Butch's undersized and under coached oline.

butch wouldn't have a QB coach and with the "work out if you want to" policy, even with Tebow, Newton, D.Watson, or any other Qb, his ceiling is 10 wins. 11 with a Dobbnail boot miracle.
  12. IP

IP "You don't know what it is like in our universe."

I think we saw his ceiling. 9.

I thinking with natural talents like Tebow, Newton, D.Watson, they're good for another 1 or 2 wins. I should have left off the "any other QB" because like you said, then his ceiling is 9.

Talking about butch is putting me in a bad mood. [uck fay] that guy.

Would you rather have the winning Powerball ticket in hand or spend $3.66 on scratch off tickets?

Savage Orange I hate myself for lovin’ UT...

Seriously though, does this look like a legit UT helmet, circa 1965? I know the ‘64’s had the black cross for the three assistants killed in the train wreck but the T doesn’t look quite right... like there ought to be some radii inside the T... not squared off like this one is...

edit: nvm. That is a ‘65-66 T for sure. Still not convinced that’s a legit Tennessee helmet though...

    I love those fullbacks:

    Greg Amsler v. Shawn Bryson

Bryson averaged a touchdown for every 5 rushes in 1998.
  19. Ssmiff

Ssmiff Thick like Quaker Oats. AKA chubby.

Bryson was better and faster but Amsler had himself a game in the Sugar Bowl. About 15 of us took a train from Memphis and rented a flat apartment near Bourbon street for that game. Decent time
