BYU doesn’t belong with other 3.

 

I’m at 7-5 but feel like I’m being a little sunshiny.

 

In year 2 of the Lyle era, Tennessee had to replace their entire OL, had Justin Worley starting at QB for most of the season, and had road games against Oklahoma and a ranked Ole Miss. The team went 6-6.

If you believe Tennessee is going 6-6 or worse, I assume you believe Butch Jones is a better coach than Jeremy Pruitt.

I think we win 7 with no problem. Plain and simple, we'll be able to get to the passer without sending the house and we will also have the horses on the back end that will keep big play guys in check.

 

With Trey back our oline just got a lot better!

I think 9 is probably the ceiling. Barring a ton of injuries I think they get to 7. I’m skeptical of the supposed defensive line talent but the coaching will be good enough that they should be serviceable. I think Chaney is gonna put smiles on a lot of faces. If nothing else he understands that if you have receivers that can go get the ball 1 on 1, you throw them the damn ball.

 

The defensive line can go three deep with SEC sized bodies. It's been a long time since Tennessee has had that.

 

As far as the size is concerned, sure that should help. But as far as them actually being good, that’s a big question mark.

 

They're going to be better than 3 seniors held together by athletic tape and a walk on

 

Fair enough. I think the defensive coaching is good enough to get to 8 with how improved the offense should be.
