I'll say this - I trust Heavy and Pruitt. I don't have any choice, otherwise. I hope that he didn't do any of it, and that there was never anything inappropriate done to or with anyone, most particularly anything involving or associated with minors. I hope that he comes here and has nothing but success, both on and off the field, that his time here will serve as a testament to the value in making the most out of second chances, and that any decision to hire him will ultimately work to the betterment of Tennessee. Like a microcosm of Earth, the U.S. and any other collective, we're all together in the same boat - even when it's decided that it should go in a direction to which I do not agree, strongly oppose and would not have chosen myself, if given that choice - but once the decision is made, we hope for the best, for all involved, and move forward. I am very, very concerned by what seem to be entirely credible allegations made against him, and their mere existence of any allegations or sincere questions in that regard would have been sufficient for me to have left him unconsidered. But for any thousands of very good and valid reasons, it is not my call to make, which leaves me to trust those who did make it, and until proven otherwise.
If we are going to hire Freeze, I agree with what Clay Travis just said on his show "If you're going to hire Freeze you better get it done ASAP, today even".
1. Chaney (if he brought Pittman, which I don't know if that would happen without Pruitt moving on or around Friend) 2. Freeze 3. Early next week. Think it leaks out over the weekend.
Not that it had to happen but the recent moves at QB with McBride moving on (not as important to this idea) but Bailey committing makes me think he has a good idea where he's going with it.
