I think the chances of Forrest Gump winning the press conference with me are damn near zero.

Staff will be important to my level of give a damn.

 

Id rather him beat WV than win the presser. I'd rather him beat UF, UGa, Bama and if Freeze gives him the best chance to do that, so be it.

 

Don't want Freeze anywhere near our staff. He should have had a show cause placed against him instead of a two game ban.

 

But he didn't, so...

 

And I still don't want him near our program. I want people that will push the envelope but not burst out of it with a phone full of hooker numbers in one hand a bible in the other.

 

I have my doubts about how good the guy can coach. That said, somebody is going to give him a second chance and he deserves a second chance. I've done some really shitty things in my life and was allowed to get past it...don't know why these guys would be any different.

Yes, I believe in second chances. I believe people can change, and in fact, I know people can change. We are not forever the person we used to be.

If he is truly remorseful and has changed his ways (hell, Pruitt was no choir boy at FSU from what I understand), then perhaps we can give him a second chance.

Thank you all for reminding me of this, seriously. This season and coaching search has pushed me back into some bad ways of thinking.

I’m all for High Freeze getting a second chance. There’s about a million other programs out there that are welcome to give him a shot.
