I'm not mad, it's just an extremely stupid thing to worry about. The majority of your starting 22 aren't going to wear sleeves anyways.
Maybe during the ice bowl someone intimidated the shit out of the other team by pretending the cold didn't bother them, but we are at least 40 years past the date that is effective.
Butch wore a jacket, so does this mean he is not a real man? Dumb HS kids want to wear legging and sleeves all the time now...even when its hot as hell. I just tell them that when they cramp with that on they are on their own..lol.....Our coach will not let skill guys wear them for the most part unless they are the ones that have grip on the forearm, however he will only allow that when its cold enough.
I generally just think that if you execute and knock the crap out of the other guy, your point will be made regardless of temp or anything else.
Dooley was the worst mother****ing person and coach I've ever seen. I will fight that until I die. Anything to the contrary melts me like an ice cube in hell.
If you consider recruiting part of coaching, which on the college level it is, then butch is well ahead of Dooley.
I mean literally just coaching. I know there are a lot of areas where Butch is infinitely better, but pure coaching, he's not.
On gamedays, there isn't much of a difference. Dooley had a better dc his first two years and a better oc all three.
