Hate that for the kid. He and McKenzie were starting to really clog the middle up.

 

Ugh. He had came into his own when he went down. Truly a special talent.

Don't think it was dirty. He hit Tuttles hip/thigh. It caused him to roll and crack his ankle.

 

I hate that for him. I guess the silver lining is extra S&C time.

Has it been determined if he needs surgery? Broke my fibula 2 years ago and had rod and 10 screws in. Sucked

 

It was a fluke play, but it wasn't dirty. It's football.

I didn't see it as dirty. Worst part of the play was the hold before it. He was cut blocking him to keep him from getting out to the ball carrier. I've got zero issue with it.

 

It was pretty shitty.

But then again, offensive linemen are spawns of satan.

There is a free blocking zone around the LoS for anyone lined up inside that box at the snap. However, once there was separation and they exited said free blocking zone, that protection was nullified. That WAS a clip.

 

I've seen some debating on whether what happened was legal or not. Either way, to me, when someone dives at the ankles of a player that is running away from the blocker towards the play, that just seems crappy to me.

I mean I could go out there and do that to someone.
