New USFL is back, this time as 'triple-A spring football league' for NFL - CBSSports I think this idea has some merit. It's nice to see someone finally not try to take the NFL head on and instead work with the league. Biggest key to making it work is putting it in areas that are football crazy year round and pricing it reasonable enough that people will go. You do those two things and this has potential sustainability.
Would be interesting to see if they will allow high school seniors to join if they dont want to go the college route.
