TV changes due for bigger SEC | timesfreepress.com
You said it man.
It needs to be a night game anyway. Too often it gets that 3:30 100-percent humidity slot.
I do agree with this. Last time it was a night game was the last time it was close. (Tebow's freshmen year)
I was there too. Great game except for the outcome.
I dropped 200+ on good Fla./UT tickets for Fulmer's last year. I don't know what was more depressing, the final score, spending that much money on a shitty game, or having to say that the only good thing about going to that game was seeing the heisman trophy winner live.
I've been expecting this since the end of the season.
It's not just us. Florida is down too. Bama/Arkansas, is just the better matchup.
Honestly, i don't give a [uck fay] if it's not on TV at all, as long as we beat their asses.
With where UT and UF have been recently its not really that much of a surprise. The game has become more important to the coaches futures instead of the SECE.
ESPN night game is more attractive for UT anyway IMO.
ESPN will pick up the Bama-Ark before UF-UT if they choose to pick over CBS that weekend....at least that's what I would do.
Now CBS hates us
I don't mean to sound superstitious, but changing things up in that game might not be a bad thing. Would be a neat ESPN2 night game in Neyland.
The last time we played Florida in a night game at Neyland on an ESPN network we got beat 31-0.
But when is the last time we played them at night with black jerseys? See where I'm going with this?
Was it an ESPN night game when Wilhoit kicked the game winner in 2004?
It was night, though, right?
Yep. It was a night game.
Yes, most definitely.
