Stuck with Guarantano because the backups had bascially zero opportunities to make an impact. Actually, Shrout had more than Maurer which is laughable. Can't wait for him to make those late ass throws against Florida, which will result in INTs or Jennings being in the hospital
Didn't come out flat and deflated. Took care of a FCS team like we should. Disappointed Maurer and Shrout didn't get more meaningful snaps. Doyle is no Leaverton when it comes to late hits out of bounds.
Beat a team the way we should and a lot of guys saw the field today. Also, good to see Banks with 2 ints.
Yep. This type of win wasnt foreseeable after the last 2 weeks. Still got a long way to go but after today we re not gushing blood.
Good to see Bituli back. I still don’t trust this defensive line to make plays in the SEC. I liked Darnell Wright at guard today. I don’t think Maurer knows what he’s doing exactly, but I like the way he plays football. Like Guarantano, he’s not afraid to take a lick. The difference is he takes his in front of the line of scrimmage, rather than behind. Chattanooga has the worst punt protection I’ve ever seen in my life. UT will lose by a minimum of 21 points to Florida, but I believe we can beat Mississippi State if we execute and play passionate football.
Buck Belue and John Kincaide can eat shit next week while they come up with “witty” barbs about Georgia Tech instead of Tennessee.
My concern with Ms st and UF is they can probably run the same 2 or 3 plays and gain 4-6 yards everytime, mix in QB keeper, and force us to score every time we get the ball
I went grocery shopping as I am currently out of (dowm to 100 mb of anyway) data on my phone for the month and it was UTC. Sounds like it went about how I expected.
