I'm excited for the FL win, but it's incredible the sheer volume of people who can turn blinders to a season of crap because of one solid half. If you say so much as "we need to improve on this", you get dumped on pretty hard over there. What do these people do for a living? There's not a single solitary soul who wasn't firing the coaching staff (among other things) at halftime against FL. Not one. Even the ones who were like "we'll pull it off" were deep down super pissed. It's been 11 years. We've blown numerous leads, not just against FL..."but this one...oh this one is gonna be different". Please.
I posted this in another thread, but it fits here too: I don't want Butch here any longer than he has to be, but I'm also tired of being a joke. This team is talented enough to go 10-2 or 11-1 with this goon as a HC. I want it because this is his high water mark.
