Those teams are a combined 87-108.

 

Flip any two of those L's and this isn't as stupid of an argument.

 

Several of those losses also stem from the defense being absolutely dreadful.

I honestly can't remember the last time we had a respectable D. 2009 or 2008 maybe? It's been a long time.

 

2008 was probably the last one that was good all year. 2009 had it's moments, but got terrible after some injuries later in the season.

Somewhere around middle linebacker #7, Dexter McCluster happened

 

I was at that freaking game. It was miserable hot and it looked like a Shoop defensive strategy.

 

The amount of middle linebackers that went down in 2009 was crazy. Reveiz, Frazier, King and I think Lathers ended up hurt too.

So, Butch has a losing record to P5 schools. Nice.

 

Only reason he's 0-4 against Bama is because we play them every year.
