"We (other folk, not us) Like Butch"

I don't know much at all. I am so so so far out of the loop, but all these stories of Butch being such a bad guy (I think he is an awful coach and he can GTFO of UT) surprise me.

Last time I was in the states and the GREAT STATE OF TENNESSEE I took my wife on a stadium tour (her first time in Neyland). I distinctly remember asking the tour guide what folks thought of Butch after DD(IAPOS). Her response was that everyone loved him and it was such a breath of fresh air to work for someone like this.

My how things have changed....and hopefully for the better. Please oh please dont F this up.

Easy to kick someone when they're down and butch deserves it, I just hope it doesn't get out of control. He's gone and I'm happy.

No one liked Butch as much as opposing fans.

 

Butch screwed up the lives of a lot of kids. Some media members will want to make sure he doesn't coach again, armed with nothing but the truth.

 

I had a player tell me early on that the whole team really liked Dooley.

 

Yeah. I, as a human being, wish nothing but happiness and long life for Lyle Jones. But coach Jones should never work again.

 

I'm fine with that and agree. He should be held responsible for his actions and prosecuted if it comes to that.

I went a little overboard about the Kendrick situation, there isn't any legal action that I'm aware of. I was just saying that he should be held accountable for how he has handled his players while he was here.

I don’t. Punching, choking, hitting players. Playing kids with concussion symptoms. Educating fans/media members. He’s an asshole and I wish only bad upon him.
