Dont suppose youve ever been on a boat with no wind to sail due to a jinx, only to find your wind when the jinx takes a swim with a cannonball, then enjoyed yourself with animals on the galapagos
In fairness, I just read an article that made sense of it, and Tennessee does “deserve” the Liberty bowl. The SEC-only schedule contributed two more losses than they otherwise would have had, which means they would’ve been 3-5 in SEC play otherwise. Given the other games (OU as a loss and 3 others as a win), Tennessee would’ve finished 6-6 and made a Liberty-tier bowl. It’s still a big step back from last year and Pruitt doesn’t deserve to keep his job, but it is something.
participation trophy? you think this is about the players at all? lol. it is all money. pretending that this is amateur athletics is practically sinful at this point. nobody in control gives a damn about these players, college athletics, or anything of the sort.
We're not going to the Liberty Bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://www.espn.com/college-footba...e-volunteers-liberty-bowl-due-covid-19-issues
He's done nothing to deserve that. He's a bad coach, but not a horrible person on top of it. Plus he's actually tried and seems to care if he loses.
Just off the top of my head... 1. From Alabama. 2. Played at Alabama. 3. Went back to Alabama after we hired him to try to help Alabama win a championship. 4. 2018 Missouri 5. 2018 Vanderbilt 6. Georgia State 7. BYU 8. 2020 JG 9. 27 point loss at home to Kentucky. 10. 5 20+ point losses in one season.
