I've been watching Miami-NC State trying to figure out how awful State is and at what point it will fully click for Miami under Golden.

He is playing out of his mind right now. It will be interesting to see if he can keep it up against the upper teams in the Big XII.

Been flipping between the two. I've finally found the one player in the country who has made more horrendously costly mistakes than Marsalis Teague: David Amerson. Burned over the top for long TDs twice in the first quarter. Jumps offsides on a FG on 4th and 3. Really not sure why they keep him in the game.

I don't even think Colorado would give up 56 to Baylor. As for wvu I've never seen so many wide open receivers in my life. I guess you have to give geno smith credit for not overthrowing these guys, but that's about it.

Dana is a genius. He tore LSU a new ass hole last year but special teams blunders and to's killed them.

    Baylor wouldn't score 56 against Colorado. They'd score 70+.

    Briles isn't too shabby.

I watched this game. The high scores had everything to do with the offenses and little to do with the D's. Some amazing scheming going on, and those defenses didn't have the personnel or the strategy to counter anything. As soon as they tried to take something away, they got beat somewhere else. Baylor ended up playing a lot of man blitz with no safeties, just trying to make something happen. Geno Smith was throwing impossibly accurate passes that made covering the WR's in man to man impossible.

Would Briles ever leave the state of Texas to coach? I tried to plug him last coaching search.
