Hubbs was asked about it. He said he didn't know what Trembley did, but he did know that they fired him and UT went and moved all of Trembley's stuff out of the office immediately. He said it must have been very bad for such a response.

I heard today that he had a prescription drug problem. Went to rehab quietly earlier in the year, but relapsed and had moved on to harder drugs. Heard UT got wind of latest transgressions because he was dumb enough to use his UT email account to set up some shady stuff. Futhermore, it sounds like when its all said and done, they likely will prove that he used camp or UT funds to pay for his habit and possibly pay off some gambling debts. My understanding was that he was picked up by campus police, taken to Hart, who fired him, and then escorted off campus. Allowed no time to very very little time to get his crap out of the office.

I heard someone say a week or two ago that when this stuff comes out, it's going to make Kiffin and Pearl look like two of the 12 Disciples.
Someone I work with occasionally that was on the UT swim team in the mid-2000's said that the latest he heard was that he was using university funds to pay recruits. He also said that there was the speculation, as another poster mentioned, about drug use. He did say that there was never any indication that anything Sandusky-ish ever went on while he was around.
