What if...

I'm not saying this is going to happen. It's just a hypothetical situation to ponder on.

What if Tennessee went won the SEC championship and went to the National Championship next year. What would your opinion on the situation be then?

I'm curious to see your opinion.

 

I would think our players were better than I thought they were, Dooley would get extended for multiple years but I still wouldn't be sold on him as a great coach. If they won the NC I wouldn't care how it was done since that's the ultimate goal just as LSU fans don't care if Les Miles is an idiot if the results are there.

 

It would only prove that the university is self sufficient.

 

Then, there'd be colossal changes to the BCS and it scrapped because we haven't caught a good break since Arkansas 1998.

 

Well shoot. I guess I'd be OK with Dooley coming back in 2013 under those circumstances.

 

At that point, I would want him fired for paying off opposing players and juicing our lines

 

I wouldn't. That would mean his lifelong quota of wins would be met.
