What is the longest streak for never missing a UT football game?

Anyone know?

I remember back in the 1990s there was a guy from Dalton, GA who had not missed attending a game, home or away, since Eisenhower was in the White House. His daughter had not missed one since the 1970s.

Not sure if either still have their streaks going or not.

 

Probably, but Gus was an employee of the program.

I'm talking pay your own way fan. I wish I could remember that fellow's name from Dalton. I know he had to charter a plane in order to make the game the day of his father-in-law's funeral.
