Who actually hired Rick Barnes

    It was said in one of the football threads that Dave Hart did not actually hire/ did not contest the hiring of Rick Barnes. Who's decision was it if it wasn't Hart's? Just curious.

    They could have been referring to Cuonzo or Tyndall.

    Barnes was Hart's guy, but he had to get a lot more sign off from boosters than before. They weren't terribly amused by the Tyndall stuff.

    his pretending to avoid Howland over AA issues and having vetted Tyndall should have landed him on the next train smoking.

    Exactly the Barnes hire does not happen unless he gets a few guys to sign off. So in my opinion his guy or not the hire was not made by him, is was allowed to be made by him.

    To add Barnes wanted to be here so its not like he had to go and track Barnes down and pitch him on the what we could offer.

    I would take her in her current condition over Dave Hart.
