Perfect opportunity to let the NCAA dust settle and allow Coach Fulmer to recharge the batteries and make a return to the sideline in 2025.

Majors was always right about him. Pisses me off just thinking about it.

If we’re fishing in the kiddie pool again (and there’s no reason to believe we won’t be...) bring in Jeff Monken. It may be time for Will Healy to get his shot too but I will NEVER be suckered into believing UT will ever hire an established, accomplished coach ever again.

 

A lot will happen in 3 years. New up and comers will emerge and folks that we wanted before will be a bust.

I’m of the opinion that this will be the best coaching search yet. Boosters will be aligned. I will have just gotten the job as AD and many prominent football minds on this board will be helping with the search.

 

If you’re running it, it’ll be the quickest, I’m sure.

 

I’m sure there are nuances and blind spots that I’d have, but it’s no different than closing a business deal.

I’d need folks to help me evaluate the candidates, but I would [uck fay]ing crush the process and contracting. I’m convinced of it after watching our last 3 charlatans.
