if set up properly, that guy's a big deal. HC should be face of program, final say on big things, recruiting deal closer. Coordinators should run everything else.

Not serious. It was a joke, but then again, that's what our program is turning into.

 

When the endorsements began to fly in, my immediate thought was....well, Nick Saban and Will Muschamp endorsed the Dooley hire.


When your rivals are endorsing your hire, especially in such a integral position as a coordinator or...God forbid...head coach...it's not a compliment. It means you dun f'ed up.

Tennessee had contact with Sanford

 

And was apparently interested in the job according to Hubbs

Sounds like a "I'll help you get a raise if you help me look like I haven't already hired Debord" kind of interview.
