The voice was leading to strange patterns that just made it more awkward. I’ve seen him give plenty of interviews looking up, don’t know what that’s about.
During the Senate race against Cruz I thought he handled himself pretty well, from what I saw. Big show isn't for everybody. May be the case here.
No, I’m not wasting time listening to anyone who sees the question of reparations as a primarily political one.
They will double down on the far left crazy and try to out-Trump Trump. Trump just has 70 more years of experience and natural ability at being Trump, however.
This is the most sincerely offered opinion that I will ever post: 1. I totally agree. 2. Trying to out-Trump Trump is like dragging Aquaman into the water for a fight. 3. The Dem establishment knows this perfectly well, but the self-styled super-smart nut jobs will force them crazily left. It’s already happening with Warren’s position pieces, and she’s actually being modest compared to what Bernie / Kamala / Beto and Bernie are going to call for. They’ll beat Trump on ideas and message, or they won’t beat him at all. Everything else is semantics.
They've allowed their identity politics to go well overboard. I don't know how they turn back or what candidate has the resolve to push against it and the support to overcome it. DNC primaries will be a bloodbath of non-contenders racing to out virtue signal each other. They will have earned every bit of ridicule they receive in the process but I hope it serves the DNC well. Perhaps another ass-kicking will wake them up to dropping identity politics and the hysteria that comes with it and the left can realign themselves with reality.
Which, of course, is why two old white guys are leading the current Democratic polls for nomination, due to our slavish adherence to identity politics.
And the far-left will make sure they apologize for the whiteness and priviledge throughout. Embarrassing mess. Hope they turn it around.
No, they won't. Silly. They will, however, have to acknowledge issues relevant and important to people of color.
https://theweek.com/articles/830443/why-are-2020-democrats-weird I wish I could say that the worst thing about John Hickenlooper's CNN town hall on Wednesday night was the part where he talked about watching Deep Throat with his mom. The former governor of Colorado, who is one of roughly 173 declared candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination, explained that the porno-with-mom thing was not an accident. He said he knew that the movie was "naughty" but thought his mother might enjoy getting out of the house. Apparently after the infamous X-rated flick began she was "mortified." That poor woman. . . . . .
