Being better than the worst isn't a ringing endorsement.

 

This is like comparing Butch to Dooley. Well yeah he's better than Dooley, but that doesn't mean he's a good coach.

And we've already had one AD who only gave a shit about football. Don't really want to relive the Wade Houston era.

 

Compared to what we have been living through the last 4 years, the Wade era was ****ing Camelot.

UT AD wide? I think the track team was still a force, the football program was winning SEC Championships, Womens basketball was at its height of power (I know I know), swimming was great (if I remember correctly).

Hell, we suck outside of women's softball on all fronts right now. Suck, and suck hard.

Well, yeah, Wade the Fade was awful, and he had a great player on his team. 5-22 his last season if I remember correctly. Gaah.

You can bet that he'd work like heck to have a Krispy Kreme built in the AD building.

 

As has been pointed out on here about 6 million times ... Fulmer's ego would be the downfall of his reign. He doesn't seem the type to bring in anyone that may be remotely threatening to his legacy.
