Appeals board rules, cancels Redskins trademark

You do realize there is no right to a trademark, don't you? If you fail to meet the protocols and standards set out, tough shit.

 

They can still sell all the shit they want with Redskins on it. Just means everyone else can, too. If it is as iconic as Snyder claims, I'm sure Washington fans will rally around the name and buy the stuff sold through the team's official shops by the ton.
