Does anyone here either need or want to know my thoughts on the idea of Trump shutting down the federal government until such time as there is funding for a single, contiguous and impregnable border wall encompassing every inch of our southern border?

    Anyone? At all?

I'll give you three guesses - on me, totally for free.

    First two won't count.

How is shutting down the government going to get Mexico to pay for the wall?

Nobody actually believed Mexico was going to pay for the wall... Especially not the thousands of idiots that chanted it back at him every time he asked

If you are referring to tariffs, you don't understand tariffs.

"The fact is we are both in a little bit of a political bind, because I have to have Mexico pay for the wall – I have to."

Nope, and I believe someone who deals with tariffs in their business likely understands how they work.

Brother, you cannot shut down enough governments for my liking.

Settle in, because once he shuts it down, it's going to be awhile.
