Does the comment reflect Prejudice or Bigotry - Probably. Racism - No (unless you use IPs definition of racism)

 

Not sure how any logical person could say that the n bomb is and that isn't.

 

It's not the word as much as the emotion trying to be portrayed by the person using the word.

 

I would have to agree with you here, I don't think the term was used as a term of endearment.

 

Curious if a very prominent black tv personality would be treated the same for using "cracker" the way Paula Deen was for saying "****er?"

can you imagine if zimmerman was on record as saying "creepy ass N-word." he'd be given the leathal injection already.

 

of course they wouldn't. i do agree that the n word carries more weight than any other slur in this society. whether it should is a completely different argument.
