I dont know when or how many when limited. At times we will catch 40 snapper and other times could only keep a few.

I've had them nasty with worms. Looked like packs of ramen noodles shoved in the meat. But they smoke soooo good. Love making fish dip with jack

I caught one, about 60 pounds, pulled up from 200 feet on 20 pound line on a spinner reel. Fought that [itch bay] for at least a half hour, the guys I was with were mad as hell. That was the one full of worms. But I fought a 12 foot shark last time we went fishing. I like it

Me too, something ate my bee liner and I fought it for awhile before it broke me off.

A couple weekends ago I was up in Vermont and ended up going fishing for the first time in years. My dad likes to fish a small lake and pond that all the locals claim is fished out. That means no one is on the water but an occasional kayaker.

We had some minnows, worms, and crayfish, and I started out fooling around with a cast master to conserve bait for my little nephew.

His first cast with a worm was a nice bass. My first cast was, incredibly, a perch on a cast master. My dad's first cast with a minnow was a perch.

In less than 3 hours we must have caught 100 fish. 1 bass and two pickerel which were all thrown back, and like 100 perch of which we kept 78 that were good eating size.

It took longer to clean them than catch them. So anyway, now I am back into fishing.

The trick was we rowed out over a seaweed forest in about 7 or 8 feet of water. They were swarming. Loons were stopping by to grab lunch. Couldn't of hit it from shore.

It is great to be on the water whether they are biting or not.

They weren't biting for me today on the Potomac. I was on the end of long log to get past the snags and they were rolling around, but not interested. Saw a lot of birds, saw a lot of toadlets in the forest. Was still a good time.

My goodness, a lot of these dudes have boats around here though. Must have seen 10 people fishing and a couple water skiing and kayaking. I was the only one on shore!
